Three people were killed when a passenger train ran over a car at an unmanned railway crossing in Odisha's Nuapada district on Sunday, reportedly at 7.45 am.
All the three people in the car, including the driver, were killed on the spot when the Bhabanipatna-Raipur passenger train rammed into the vehicle, according to IANS report.
The train was on its way to Raipur when the incident occurred, district superintendent of police Sunil Joshi said.
The accident took place around 550 km away from state capital Bhubaneswar, near Kalyanpur.
