The official trailers of upcoming two Malayalam movies -- Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol and Fukri -- were released online on December 10 and they have been trending online. The movies, scheduled to hit the theatres as Christmas releases, have already raised the expectations of the audience from them.

The one-minute-29-second trailer of Mohanlal's family entertainer Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol hit the internet at 6 pm on Saturday after it was uploaded on the YouTube page of the production house Weekend Blockbusters. The video gives a glimpse of what to expect from the Jibu Jacob directorial and reveals that Mohanlal's character, Unnachan, married to Annie (Meena) is a serious person, who doesn't even smile. His secret involvement with another lady seems to be bringing changes in his life that become the reason for his smile.
The trailer, which also features Anoop Menon, Bindu Panicker, Srinda Arhaan, Alencier Ley, Kalabhavan Shajon, Aima Sebastian, Sanoop Santhosh, Sudheer Karamana and Rahul Madhav, has been trending on social media. At the time of reporting, it has been placed as the fifth most trending video on YouTube India with over 7.46 lakh views. Earlier, the teaser of the family movie was opened to a tremendous response from the movie-goers.
Fukri
After garnering a good response for the teaser of the comedy entertainer, the makers of Jayasurya's upcoming movie Fukri released its official trailer at 7 pm on Saturday. In the one-minute-44-second video, which also features Anu Sithara, Prayaga Martin, Lal, Siddique, KPAC Lalithaa, Bhagath Manuel, versatile actor Jayasurya is seen playing Muslim and Hindu characters. Earlier, it was also said that he would be seen playing the role of a kleptomaniac in the Siddique directorial. It marks the maiden association of Jayasurya with Siddique.
The trailer has been opened to a positive response from the audience and has become the 16th most trending video on YouTube India at the time of reporting. The trailer has been viewed over 2.59 lakh on the video sharing website. However, due to unknown reasons, the video has been removed from the YouTube page of S Talkies and the team has uploaded the trailer again on December 16.
