The trailer of Jayasurya's upcoming movie "Lal Bahadur and Shastri" is released. The film, which is touted as a fun thriller is scripted and directed by Rejishh Midhila and is scheduled to hit the screens on 21 November.
The trailer introduces the lead actors of the movie. The story revolves around three strangers who come across during their journey of life and tells how they influence each other. The makers of the film have called it a down to earth movie with all elements of an entertainer.
The story and the characters are set in a village and Jayasurya plays the role of Lal, Nedumudi Venu as Bahadur and Aju Varghese as Shastri.
Meanwhile, "Lal Bahadur and Shastri" will mark the acting debut of Jayasurya's son Advaith. He will be playing Jayasurya's childhood in the flashback scenes. Though his screen presence in the movie is very less, it is an integral part of the plot.
"Though it is not a full length character, the scenes are very much integral to the plot. I am happy for him. But then, I wasn't confident enough since it was a full-fledged character. In fact, I was scared whether he could carry off the role with ease. But this time, I felt that it was a great opportunity for him and told him to give it a shot," said Jayasurya to The Times of India.
The film also has Sandra Simon, Lakshmipriya, Mala Aravindan, Nandu and Noby Varghese in pivotal roles.
The music of this entertainer is done by Bijibal and the lyrics are penned by Santhosh Varma. The camera for the movie is cranked by Eldho Issac and the editing is done is Sandeep Nandakumar.
"Lal Bahadur and Shastri" is produced by Jose Simon and Rajesh George under the banner of Jairaj Films.
