Toyota Kirloskar Motor pulled the wraps off its new Land Cruiser Prado in India with a price tag of ₹ 84.87 lakh.
Land Cruiser Prado, a luxury sports utility vehicle is known for its rough body and off -road performance. The new avatar of the highly acclaimed Land Cruiser Prado hosts few tweaks both inside and out.
Talking about the interior, the vehicle gets Crawl Control -a system that makes accelerator and brake operations unnecessary when driving over jagged off-road terrain or on slippery surfaces, enabling the driver to concentrate fully on steering and Multi-Terrain Select which will allow the driver to choose between various road condition modes- Rock; Rock and Dirt; Mogul; Loose Rock; and Mud & Sand.
Other features include Multi-Terrain Monitor, Audio system with 7-inch display, climate control and electric mirror. It sports a new front grille, bumper, fog lamps and head lamps, a new rear license plate garnish and LED headlamps and daytime running lamps.

Under the hood, the latest version of Land Cruiser Prado packs the same 3.0-litre diesel engine which churns out 171bhp and 410Nm of torque. It is mated to a five-speed automatic gearbox and will come in five paint jobs which include White Pearl Crystal Shine, Silver Metallic, Grey Metallic, Dark Blue Metallic and Black. According to reports, the company will start accepting the bookings from 5 December.
