The Innova Crysta was introduced to the country at the Auto Expo 2016 in February. Post the unveiling, Toyota dealers unofficially started booking for the MPV in March. The new generation Innova is entering the market 10 years after the first generation Innova was launched in India. The Innova is one of the model that retained healthy sales in segment when many other MPVs were struggling for volume sales.
In its latest avatar, the vehicle shows a complete makeover in its exterior and interior looks. The front facia of Innova Crysta features a big hexagonal grille with two thick chrome slats on the top that blend into the LED projector headlamps. The bumper sports fog lamps and turn indicators are in a single cluster with chrome housing. The rear lamps sport a new boomerang-style design. The lamps are also larger than the current model, and the rear bumper has also undergone some tweaks.
