Toyota has started dispatching the new Innova Crysta to its dealers in India. A new image of the Innova Crysta has hit the web, showing what is believed to be the test-drive model of the MPV parked at a dealer yard in Mumbai.
Snapped by a member of Team BHP forum, the latest spy shot shows the new Innova Crysta parked with the current Innova at a dealer yard. Toyota's new offering is slated to be launched in India on May 3. The new avatar of the Innova MPV, which made its India debut at the Auto Expo 2016, is already on sale in Indonesia.
In India, the Innova Crysta is expected to include 2,755cc and 2,393cc diesel engines under the hood. While the 2,393cc diesel engine will develop 148bhp of power and 243Nm of torque, the 2,755cc mill will churn out 172bhp and 360Nm of torque. The transmission is expected to be taken care of by a six-speed automatic and a five-speed manual gearbox. There have also been reports that Toyota is planning to introduce locally made petrol engine for the new Innova in India.
In terms of dimensions, the Innova Crysta measures 4,735mm in length, 1,830mm in width, 1,795mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,750mm. Expected to be offered three trims — GX, VX and ZX, the Innova Crysta will include features like automatic climate control with rear auto cooler, 7-inch audio with navigation, cruise control and electrically-adjustable driver seat.
