The dealers of the company have already started accepting bookings for the Innova Crysta and now, ahead of its official debut in the domestic market, the MPV has been spied in different colours.
Snapped by IndianAutos Blog in Goa, the latest set of images of the Innova Crysta shows the MPV in three colours — black, grey and white. The Innova Crysta has already made several appearances on the web through spy shots and leaked images after its India debut at the Auto Expo 2016.
Recent leaked images suggested that the Innova, in its second-generation avatar will be offered in three trims — GX, VX and ZX — in India. The powertrain of the Innova Crysta is expected to include 2,755cc and 2,393cc diesel engines. While the 2,393cc diesel engine will develop 148bhp of power and 243Nm of torque, the 2,755cc mill will churn out 172bhp and 360Nm of torque.
Rumours are rife that Toyota may also roll out petrol engines for the new Innova in the country. However, nothing has been confirmed yet. The transmission in the Innova Crysta is expected to be taken care of by a six-speed automatic and a five-speed manual gearbox.
As for features, the Innova Crysta is expected to include automatic climate control with rear auto cooler, 7-inch audio with navigation, cruise control and electrically adjustable driver seat. On the safety front, the MPV is likely to feature ABS with Electronic brake distribution and brake assist as standard across the trim.
The new Toyota Innova Crysta will compete against the likes of Honda Mobilio and Renault Lodgy in India.
