Toyota Kirloskar Motor on Monday, May 2, launched its much-awaited Innova Crysta in India at a price tag starting at Rs 13.83 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The company also announced that the bookings for the new Innova are open from May 1.

Now, with the new Innova Crysta, we intend to take this commitment a notch above by giving our customers the best Innova possible in terms of powerful performance, luxurious features, comfort and most importantly safety," said Akito Tachibana, newly appointed Managing Director of Toyota Kirloskar Motor.
The company will commence the deliveries of the new Innova Crysta from May 13. Innova Crysta, which made its debut at the Auto Expo 2016 in February, is offered in two grades with an automatic transmission (Zx and Gx) and four grades with manual transmission (Zx, Vx, Gx and G).
Powered by 2.4-litre and 2.8-litre diesel engines, the MPV measures 4,735mm in length, 1,830mm in width, 1,795mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,750mm. While the 2,393cc diesel engine will develop 148bhp of power and 243Nm of torque, the 2,755cc mill will churn out 172bhp and 360Nm of torque. The engines come mated to either a five-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed automatic gearbox.
It comes packed with safety features such as SRS Airbags, vehicle stability control (VSC), hill assist control (HSC), antilock braking system (ABS), electronic brake force distribution (EBD) and brake assist (BA). Available in three new colours -- garnet red, white pearl crystal shine, avant-garde bronze, along with silver, grey and super white, the Crysta features cruise control, electrically adjustable, retracting chrome finished ORVM, smart entry system with Push start/stop button, automatic climate control with cool start and rear auto AC, leather wrap steering wheel and 4.2 inch TFT multi and information display.
