As the launch of the new Innova Crytsa nears, a new set of images of the MPV has emerged online, showing the model virtually from all angles. Toyota Innova Crytsa is expected to begin its journey in India on May 3.
A member of Team BHP forum has shared the images of the Innova Crysta, which are believed to have been taken at a dealer's showroom. The images show the mid-variant — V — of the Innova Crysta. A discussion on the same platform also reveals that some dealers of Toyota have started accepting the bookings for the model with a down-payment of Rs. 50,000. However, the company is expected to announce the official opening of bookings in early May. The car will be priced at around Rs.14 lakh in India.
In terms of dimensions, the Innova Crysta measures 4,735mm in length, 1,830mm in width, 1,795mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,750mm. The features line-up of the new Innova includes an automatic climate control with rear auto cooler, a 7-inch audio with navigation, cruise control and electrically-adjustable driver seat.
Under the hood, the Innova Crysta gets 2,755cc and 2,393cc diesel engines. While the 2,393cc diesel engine will develop 148bhp of power and 243Nm of torque, the 2,755cc mill will churn out 172bhp and 360Nm of torque. The engine is expected to come mated to a six-speed automatic and a five-speed manual gearbox.
Toyota had showcased the Innova Crysta at the Auto Expo 2016 in February.
