Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) launched the new Fortuner in India on 7 November and the revamped seven-seater SUV has got a head start. The new Fortuner has already crossed 6,200 bookings in the country in less a month of its launch.
"November has been a very exciting month for us as we launched one of the most anticipated products of the year- the all new Fortuner. We are overwhelmed by the response it has received with over 6200 bookings already. This has also encouraged us to meet the demands and expectations of our customers as we have shipped close to 2500 units of the new Fortuner to our dealerships across the country," said N. Raja, director and senior vice president, sales and marketing at Toyota Kirloskar Motor.
TKM received 5,400 bookings and 16,000 enquiries by November 24. The latest number indicates the demand of the SUV has not been impacted even after the new version is priced higher.
The new Fortuner has been priced in the range of Rs 25.92 lakh to Rs 27.67 lakh for petrol variants and Rs 27.52 lakh to Rs 31.12 lakh for diesel variants, ex-showroom Delhi.
