Halloween is here, and like every year, you are doing all you can to make it unique and different from your next-door neighbours.
There are undoubtedly numerous ideas to decorate your home and make it memorable for trick-or-treaters who visit you.
And it's not just what's outside, but how scary the inside of your house looks also matters.
But going from wishing things to happen to making them happen requires time, effort and quite a bit of planning. Just in case you are short of any of these, here are a few simple and easy-to-implement Halloween ideas that will make sure all the guests and trick-or-treaters won't forget your home till next year.
Candy Cauldron
This will be a delightful yet mischievous surprise for trick-or-treaters and party guests. Even if they don't like sweets all that much, the bubbling candy display will be an irresistible sight.
Mirror, Mirror
To see an inverted reflection of oneself will definitely freak out party-goers. To create the illusion, mount a mirrored film to a sheet of curved poster-board and slip it into a frame.
Spidery Porches
These plastic spiders glued to your doorbell and doorknob will make trick-or-treaters shiver with dread before knocking.
Pumpkin Candy Faces
This is probably the most popular and basic Halloween decoration. However, if you take care of how the carved faces look, it can create unexpected and amazing results.
Punch Bowl Prop
Cut the upper quarter of a medium-sized pumpkin in a zigzag pattern and fill it with dry smoking ice to make a splendid showpiece. Alternatively, you can also use it to serve some delicious punch.
Creepy Pumpkin Candy Container
This is probably one of the easiest and most effective pumpkin carving props you can come up with. Just empty the insides of a big pumpkin, draw two bobbling eyes on it and make a hole below they eyes in the middle. Fill it with candies and sweets, and the pumpkin will give the illusion of a vomiting container.
