Micromax Yu Yuphoria
Following the grand success of Yureka, Micromax subsidiary Yu Televentures launched a new budget smartphone. Dubbed as Yu Yuphoria, the smartphone flaunts a 5-inch 720p display with Snapdragon 410 SoC, 2GB RAM and 16GB storage.
Running on Android 5.0 Lollipop based CyanogenMod 12 ROM, Yu Yuphoria boasts 8MP+5MP camera combination and is powered by a 2,500mAh battery. Yu Yureka is exclusively available through amazon.in for ₹6,999.
Huawei Honor Bee and 4C
Following the decent response to Honor 6 Plus and Honor 4X, Huawei launched two new affordable smartphones in India. Named as Honor Bee and Honor 4C, both the smartphones are exclusively available through Flipkart for ₹4,999 and ₹8,999 respectively.
Honor Bee sports a 4.5-inch display with 540x854 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1.2GHz Spreadtrum SC7731 quad-core SoC, 1GB RAM and 8GB built-in storage. The budget smartphone packs a 1750mAh battery and features 8MP and 2MP rear and front cameras respectively.
Honor 4C boasts a 5-inch 720p display and runs on a 1.2GHz octa-core Hisillicon Kirin 620 SoC, backed by 2GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. On the camera front, Honor 4C offers a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera.
Coolpad Dazen 1 and Dazen X7
Coolpad is quite a known name in China for its affordable series of smartphones. The company received a huge appreciation in North America and Europe following the recent launch of its Ubuntu edition of MX4 smartphone.
Coolpad debuted in India with two affordable smartphones -- Daze X7 and Dazen X1. Both the devices have been priced to impress mid-budget and budget consumers.
Dazen X7 packs a 5.2-inch FHD display, 13MP f/1.8 rear camera and 8MP front shooter. The phone runs on true Octa-core 1.7 GHz with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. It is powered by a 2700mAh battery. The phone is available in gold and titanium white colours.
On the other hand, Dazen 1 is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor coupled with 2GB RAM along with 8GB of built-in storage. It sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with a f/2.2 lens and LED flash. It also features a 5-megapixel FF front camera. The phone comes packed with a 2500mAh battery. It will be available in moon dust grey and baby snow-white colours.
Dazen X7 and Dazen 1 are competitively priced at ₹17,999 and ₹6,999 respectively. These devices will be available in India from June 9 onwards exclusively on Snapdeal.
Meizu M1 Note
Another fierce Xiaomi competitor on its homeground, Meizu also debuted in the Indian consumer electronics market with its budget smartphone M1 Note. Priced at ₹11,999, M1 Note is available exclusively on Snapdeal.com.
M1 Note packs a 5.5-inch 1080p display with a MediaTek MT6572 SoC, 2GB RAM and 16GB in-built memory.
The phone packs a 13MP rear camera having f/2.2 aperture with 300 degree panoramic capable lens. In the front, Meizu packs a f/2.0 5MP camera with face AE light boost technology and FotoNation smart selfie enhancement.
ZTE Nubia Z9 Mini
Another popular smartphone maker ZTE has launched its Nubia Z9 Mini in the country. The phone sports a 5-inch 1080x1920 display and runs on Snapdragon 615 Octa-core CPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt memory and packs a 2900 mAh battery.
On the camera side, Nubia Z9 Mini houses a 16MP rear and 8MP front camera. Available exclusively through Amazon.in, Z9 Mini has been priced at ₹16,999.
Micromax Canvas Doodle 4
Micromax has launched its affordable smartphone Canvas Doodle 4 smartphone in India. It features a 6-inch 540p HD IPS display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Running on Android 5.0 Lollipop, Canvas Doodle 4 packs a 1.3GHz quad-core SoC, 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM memory.
Lenovo P70 and A5000
Lenovo India has launched two new smartphones for the Indian consumers. Named A5000 and P70, both the devices are focused at users looking for smartphones with a gigantic battery.
P70 packs ARM MaliT760 GPU for graphics and supports games like Asphalt 8 and Real Football 2015. The integrated MediaTek processor supports 4G LTE, allowing users to browse high-speed data on mobile.
On the camera side, Lenovo P70 comes with a 13mp rear sensor with AF and LED flash. There's also a 5mp front snapper for selfies.
Lenovo A5000 features a 5-inch HD display with 720 pixels resolution and runs on Android Kitkat 4.4 overlaid with Vibe UI. Packed with 1.3GHz quad-core MT6582 processor, 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, the USP of A5000 is its marathon 4,000mAh battery.
Available at all Lenovo retail stores in India, A5000 smartphone is priced at ₹9,999 and is available in black and white variants. P70 is priced at ₹15,999 and is available in dark blue colour.
Microsoft Lumia 430 Dual SIM
Like Android smartphone makers, Microsoft is also eyeing the budget smartphone consumers. The company launched Lumia 430 Dual SIM at ₹5,199.
As for the specifications, Lumia 430 Dual SIM sports a 4-inch WVGA display with 480x800 pixel resolution at 235ppi pixel density. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Cortex-A7 processor, 1GB RAM and 8GB expandable storage onboard.
Lumia 430 packs a 2MP primary camera and a VGA sensor for the front. The handset runs on Windows 8.1 Denim out of the box and is listed as one of the eligible devices for Windows 10 Mobile update later this year.
HTC Desire 626G+
The Taiwan-based smartphone maker also launched a mid budget smartphone in the country. Named as Desire 626G+, the smartphone boasts a 5-inch 720p display and runs on Android Kitkat 4.4.
Powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core SoC, Desire 826G+ packs 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM memory. It houses a 13MP+5MP camera combination and is powered by a 2000mAh battery. The phone is priced at ₹16,900.
