The GSM Association or GSMA association of mobile operators and related companies arrange the Mobile World Congress every year. The event was inaugurated in 1987, and has since been held in Barcelona.
Unlike some other global events like Consumer Electronics Show, MWC focuses only on mobile phones and related technology. Naturally, technology enthusiasts keep an eye on the event.

Samsung Galaxy 6 Edge- Samsung finally launched their much awaited flagship smartphone Galaxy S6 and a little twisted variant Galaxy S6 Edge. Both the smartphones feature great specification inside a super cool casing. Available in 32, 64 and 128GB option this smartphone will give a tough competition to Apple's iPhone 6 Plus. Blackberry Leap- Blackberry launched their new mid range all touch smartphone at the MWC 2015. Huawei Smartwatch- Instead of launching a smartphone, Chinese manufacturer Huawei has launched a smartwatch. Named Huawei Watch, the Android Wear based smartwatch looks elegant.
