The trailers of Rajinikanth-starrer Kabali, Ilayathalapathy Vijay's Theri and Suriya's S3 aka Singam 3 have topped the list of highest-viewed Tamil movie trailers on YouTube. The videos of the three aforementioned films met with earth-shattering response from the cine-goers, which only shows the pre-release hype that they generated.

Kabali trailer was released on April 30 and has got over 3.2 crore hits, with 4.65 lakh 'likes' and 18,154 'dislikes.' Rajinikanth's electrifying screen presence was the biggest highlight of the clip. Vijay's Theri is in the second place in the list by garnering 1.06 hits so far.

The Theri trailer gets the credit for third flick to reach 1-crore mark hits on YouTube in Kollywood after Chiyaan Vikram's I and Rajinikanth's Kabali. The clip had got 2.41 lakh 'likes' and 21131 'dislikes.' It was released on March 20.

Suriya's S3 aka Singam 3 trailer follows next with above 84 lakh hits. It was released on November 7 and has garnered 1.15 lakh 'likes' and '25384' dislikes.

The list also has Chiyaan Vikram's Iru Mugan, Sivakarthikeyan's Remo, Karthi's Kaashmora, Dhanush's Kodi, Arvind Swamy and Jayam Ravi's Bogan, Suriya's 24 and Simbu's Idhu Namma Aalu. Below, find the complete list of top 10 Tamil movie trailers of 2016:
