Google has just released its top apps and games for 2014. Among the millions of Apps and games available on Google Play Store, Google has picked a few according to their number of downloads and user rating. We earlier wrote about the top 10 apps and now we reveal the top games. Though Google has chosen a number of games across genres, we have picked some of our favourites, which come for free and allow an awesome gaming experience on mobile phones.

The endless running game is much like the trending mobile game Temple Run but different in one sense, the scenario. Set on a comic like character and a guard, the run begins on a railway track and then the player needs to jump across tracks, climb and run over the trains. The aim is to overcome obstacles and escape the clutches of the guard.
Subway Surfer will surely be found in 90 percent of the smartphones. No, we are not discussing about hardcore gamers of DOTA 2 here but about the normal users who like to play some light sessions to while away some time.
Available both on iOS and Android platforms, the game is easy to play and comes for free.
Re-Volt 2: Multiplayer
The multiplayer based game is the portable version of animated cart style racing with simple 3D graphics and great touchscreen controls with up to three opponents.
