But as per recent reports, Tom Cruise reportedly wishes to reunite with his young daughter Suri Cruise over this Christmas, which will apparently leave Katie all alone. The questionable story was soon debunked by a fact-checking website.
Katie Holmes had a crush on Tom Cruise since she was only 15 years old. The couple tied knots in November 2006 in a lavish wedding. However, they announced their divorce after spending six years together. Since their divorce, Tom Cruise has reportedly not been in touch with his daughter Suri Cruise.
But as per recent claims by a magazine, the Top Gun: Maverick movie star is reportedly pushing for a Christmas reunion with his daughter and Katie is not happy with his choice.
"Katie's absolutely panicking over the fact that she may lose Suri for the holidays. Tom's been completely absent from Suri's life for years. She has no idea why he's walking back in now – especially since he knows how important Christmas is to Katie," an alleged insider revealed.
The alleged insider went on to add that Tom Cruise reportedly has different motives when it comes to meeting Suri Cruise. As per the source, the Church of Scientology is pushing for a reunion between Tom and Suri as it will repair Mission: Impossible — Fallout movie star's image.
It was not long ago when Tom Cruise's name was allegedly linked with some shocking allegations by a former Scientologist Leah Remini. As per Remini, Tom knows about the abuse that goes within the Church of Scientology. That claim was later debunked by a spokesperson for the Church of Scientology.
"They don't want to force them back into Scientology," the alleged insider added. "It's more like they'd like Katie and Suri to be seen as passively coexisting with the church, and maybe then potential followers would be less suspicious."
As per the insider, Tom Cruise is provided with a set of instructions which will make this Christmas memorable for Suri Cruise. It further contends that Katie Holmes is now devastated as she is not going to be with her own daughter during the holidays.
