Mahesh Babu's "Aagadu" Teaser Goes Viral

The first look teaser of Mahesh Babu's most-anticipated film "Aagadu" has gone viral on the net.

"Aagadu teaser was released on 31 May on the special occasion of superstar Krishna's birthday. As soon as the video was launched, it took the internet by storm and fetched more than 500,000 views in less than a day. Directed by Sreenu Vaitla, "Aagadu" has Mahesh Babu appearing in the role of a cop and he will be romancing Tamannaah for the first time in the film.

The action comedy entertainer is produced under 14 Reels Entertainment banner. The film's shooting is progressing well and the team has reportedly completed a long schedule in Ladakh.

Produced by 14 Reels Entertainment, "Aagadu" is likely to hit the screens in September.

Allu Arjun Confirmed to Play Gona Gannareddy in "Rudhramadevi"

Stylish Star Allu Arjun is all set to play the pivotal role of Gona Gannareddy in Gunasekhar's "Rudhramadevi."

Anushka Shetty and Rana Daggubati are already part of the magnum opus set to hit the screens later this year. Now, Allu Arjun has joined the star cast and his presence has raised the expectations surrounding the project.

The "Race Gurram" actor will be paired opposite Catherine Tresa in the film.

Earlier, there were a lot of speculations as to who would play the role of Gona Gannareddy. Mahesh Babu, Ravi Teja and Jr NTR's names were doing the rounds, but the film's director confirmed during Saturday's press conference that Allu Arjun will do the part.

"In this historical film, Gona Gannareddy's character is very important. He is a Robin Hood kind of dacoit and he fights against Rudramadevi. With Allu Arjun, the film gains stature and gives the project an added advantage," Gunasekhar was quoted as saying by Deccan Chronicle.

The actor is currently undergoing training in sword fighting and horse riding. He is likely to commence shooting for the project in July and the film will be completely wrapped by the end of the month.

Jr NTR to do a Film for Kalyan Ram's NTR Arts banner

Young tiger of Telugu cinema, Jr NTR, will be doing a film for Kalyan Ram's NTR Arts banner soon. The film will be directed by well-known writer Vakkantham Vamsi of "Yevadu" and "Race Gurram" fame.

Vamsi is reportedly doing the script work and it is expected to be completed soon. The film will be launched once the complete bound script is ready.

Jr NTR, who is currently working in "Rabhasa", will begin shooting for Puri Jagannadh's untitled project. The Vakkantham Vamsi project is likely to go on floors after Puri's film.

Naga Chaitanya to Romance Kriti Sanon in Sudheer Varma Film

Actress Kriti Sanon of "1 Nenokkadine" fame is all set to work with Naga Chaitanya in a new film to be directed by Sudheer Varma.

"After considering several names, the unit has finally zeroed in on Kriti, for the leading lady's role. Apparently, a few days ago, the makers even did a trial photo shoot and Kriti impressed them in her screen test with her ability to connect with the camera," a source close to the film's unit told the Times of India.

The untitled flick will be Kriti's second Telugu project after "1 Nenokkadine," in which she made her film debut.The new project, touted to be a youthful entertainer, will go on floors in July.

Sunil to Team up with Director Maruthi

Comedian-turned-hero Sunil will be working with director Maruthi for the first time in a new project.

The film, touted to be a comedy entertainer, will be produced by Danayya. Maruthi is currently working on the film's script and the project might be launched this month, reported 123telugu.
