Shah Rukh Khan is nursing a shoulder injury but that's not going to stop him from entertaining his fans. He is all set to perform at the TOIFA awards in Vancouver on Saturday.
King Khan, who sustained injury while shooting for "Chennai Express", is currently in Vancouver for TOIFA awards.
The 47-year-old actor's performance is one of the most-awaited sections of the award ceremony that started off on 4 April. Shah Rukh arrived in Vancouver on Friday and will share stage with several Bollywood celebrities like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and others.
"I have been shooting for 14 days non-stop and on top of it I hurt myself. My shoulder is hurting a bit," SRK told PTI in an interview.
In 2009, Shahrukh suffered a serious shoulder injury while shooting for a film, "Dulha Mil Gaya" for which he underwent surgery.
When he was asked whether it was an old injury, the actor replied saying, "It is a new injury. The old one is fine but for this one I may have to go for a surgery later. I have to perform so it is a bit of a drag but I will try to avoid the right hand movement during the dance as much as I can."
The actor is one of the busiest Bollywood actors at present and he has been working non-stop for his film and the opening ceremony of IPL, where he performed with Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone and international rapper Pitbull.

"I did the IPL ceremony and then there was the match. I flew in after dropping the kids because wife (Gauri) had left already for TOIFA. Yes, it has been hectic but that is how I live. I might also miss my team's next match," he added.
A TOIFA awards is a three-day event held in Vancouver. It started with musical nights on Thursday followed by Technical awards and fashion show on Friday, and the main event is on Saturday.
