3:14 a.m. IST — No surprises here. Sanjay Leela Bhansali collects Best Director trophy for his magnificent "Bajirao Mastani;" Salman's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" honoured with the Best Film award.
2: 56 a.m. IST — Jacqueline grooves with Honey Singh to "Yaar Na Miley" from "Kick." Will Salman join them?
2: 52: a.m. IST — Yo Yo Honey Singh, who had disappeared from the music scene for roughly two years, is back and how. The composer-rapper does a live rendition of "Manali Trance" and "Love Dose."
2: 40 a.m. IST — Ranveer and Deepika Padukone win Best Jodi Of The Year award.
2: 38 a.m. IST —Shah Rukh Khan begins his act with "Gerua" and moves to "Jabra Fan."
2:20 a.m IST — Amitabh can add another Best Actor (Critic's Choice) award to his ever-expanding list of achievements. Kalki Koechlin, who made people believe and invest in her Laila from "Margarita With a Straw," finally picked up a Best Actress (Critic's Choice) award.
1:58 a.m IST — Kareena pays tribute to the divas of B-Town.
1:45 a.m. IST — Television anchor-actor Manish Paul and Varun Dhawan break into an impromptu jig before of senior star Amitabh. The boys danced to "Manma Emotion Jaage" from "Dilwale."
1:42 a.m. IST — Salman dances to some of his hit numbers.
1:30 a.m. IST — The soul-stirring "Mohe Rang Do Lal" from "Bajirao Mastani" fetches its singer, Shreya Ghoshal, Best Playback Singer (Female) award. Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali received it on her behalf.
1:15 a.m. IST — Ranveer's performance was followed by a string of important awards. Amitabh was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement award, Nawazuddin Siddiqui picked up one for Best Actor in a Negative Role, Jeet Ganguli won Best Song of the Year for "Hamari Adhuri Khaani" and "Roy" bagged Best Album.
1:01 a.m. IST — Ranveer pays tribute to Amitabh. The act has been designed keeping in mind the skill set of actors involved. A few days ago, choreographer Shiamak Davar told IANS the songs do not require Ranveer to dance much. "They require elements of 'how Amitabh Bachchan would react to these songs', because he is a great actor. The songs will not only be just a dance, but have a lot of acting as well," he had added.
12: 52 a.m. IST — "Dum Laga Ke Haisha" is having a good run. Varun Grover awarded Best Lyricist and Papon (Angaraag Mahanta) given Best Playback Singer for "Moh Moh Ke Dhaage."
12: 49 a.m IST — The extremely charming superstar, Shah Rukh Khan, arrives looking dapper in his sleek suit.
12: 23 a.m. IST — Bhumi bags a prestigious one. "Dum Laga Ke Haisha" brings yet another Best Debut (Female) award to her.
12: 12 a.m. IST — Another one for Priyanka Chopra's crowded award shelf. The talented actress wins Best Supporting Actor (Female) for her endearing portrayal of Kashibai in "Bajirao Mastani." Anil Kapoor walks away with the Best Supporting Actor (Male) trophy for "Dil Dhadakne Do." He played the self-absorbed business tycoon in the Zoya Akhtar film.
12:04 a.m. IST — Sooraj Pancholi picks up another Best Debut trophy for his performance in "Hero." He played the brooding action hero in the Nikhil Advani directorial.
11:55 p.m. IST — Kareena and Varun set the stage on fire with their dance moves. The duo matched steps to "High Heels."
11:50 p.m. IST — Superstar Salman Khan is all smiles at the red carpet; senior star Amitabh Bachchan walks in next. This is the legendary actor's first association with the award show.
11:23 p.m. IST — Man of the moment Ranveer Singh steps in wearing a well-tailored navy blue suit. The "Bekifre" star has been nominated in the Best Actor in a Leading Role (Male) category for "Bajirao Mastani."
11:15 p.m. IST — Karisma Kapoor, Gautam Gulati and Bhumi Pednekar are the glitterati in every sense of the word. In their shiny best, the celebs look like a million dollars.

Bollywood's best are in Dubai and are rehearsing tirelessly for their performance at the Times of India Film Awards (TOIFA) 2016. From the line-up of stars, it's not too hard to guess that the show would be a memorable one.
Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Varun Dhawan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez are some of the names who have been practising their dance moves to be able to put up some stellar performances. Riteish Deshmukh and Parineeti Chopra are on hosting duties.
As far as the nominations go, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Bajirao Mastani" is leading the race and has been nominated in as many as 13 categories.
