Toby Sheldon, who was also known as Justin Bieber's look-alike, was reportedly found dead last week. The 35-year-old's body was found in Motel 6 in San Fernando Valley on 21 August. So what exactly happened to him?
Toby, who went by the name Tobias Strebel, became famous for having spent $100,000 to look like Canadian pop star Justin Bieber. The "Botched" star was reported missing since 18 August and was found dead on 21 August.
Although the cause of death is unknown, law enforcement authorities told TMZ that the police found drugs in the Motel room. But it's unclear whether these drugs had any role to play in Toby's death.
Sources have apparently pointed out that his recent break-up with his boyfriend could also be the reason for his disappearance and subsequent death. Well, many have been speculating that his heartbreak and drugs could have lead to Toby's unfortunate death. But there's no official confirmation on the cause of death yet.
Toby, who has also appeared on E!s "Botched" and TLC's "My Strange Addiction", was last seen in West Hollywood before he went missing. "This is very unusual for him to be missing. He hasn't done any, not shown up for no reason, no note or anything," Toby's friend Mel Espinoza told ABC7, after he was reported missing.
It has been previously reported that Sheldon's ultimate goal was to perform a duet with Justin Bieber. In fact, the reality TV star was even snapped while testing out his vocals in a recording studio.
Interestingly, Toby was also part of a music group comprising fans who had undergone plastic surgery to look like their idols.
Meanwhile, fans have been mourning Toby Sheldon's death and have been curious to know what exactly happened to Justin Bieber's look-alike.
