Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor's action-packed thriller "Baaghi" has entered the coveted Rs. 100-crore club (worldwide). The numbers have given the team a reason to make it into a franchise.
Talking to DNA, director Sabbir Khan, said he, Tiger and producer Sajid Nadiadwala have had a talk regarding the same. The work on sequel, which will roll in 2017 in Shanghai, has begun, but Shraddha Kapoor will not reprise her role. The plan is to have Tiger in all of the "Baaghi" films serenading a different leading lady each time.
"We will have to figure out how to organically take the franchise forward. It will have the treatment and the content to take it to the level of a Rocky or Rambo. Working with Sajid bhai is like working in my own home production. There is a great comfort level. I am taking this one day at a time and I want to put all my energies into one film and give it my best," Sabbir further added.
Tiger, who is enjoying the phase, however, has his head in the right place and is looking forward to his next film "A Flying Jatt." Directed by Remo D'Souza, the superhero flick stars Jacqueline Fernandez and will arrive in theatres on Aug. 25.
The young star, talking to Catch News, said it was difficult playing a superhero, adding that the film hasn't just allowed him to fight injustice, but also made him dance quite a bit. "In A Flying Jatt you will get to see a lot of dancing. You can't even imagine what can Remo Sir and I do together in dancing. A Flying Jatt is like an ABCD 3 + a superhero film," he told the portal.
This apart, there's an "amazing" love story between him and Jacqueline, Tiger promised.
