Hrithik Roshan was supposed to play the lead role in Siddharth Anand's upcoming Hindi remake of Rambo, but latest reports suggest that Tiger Shroff has replaced the Mohenjo Daro actor.
Siddharth has already taken remake rights for Sylvester Stallone-starrer Rambo and had approached Hrithik to play the character of the tough fighter. However, Hrithik refused the offer as he would be busy with the making of Krrish 4, according to SpotboyE.
The report also said that the director then approached Tiger to play the lead role and he accepted the offer. Earlier, it was reported that Sidharth Malhotra was approached for the film after Hrithik had turned it down.
However, it was said that Sidharth also had a packed schedule with multiple upcoming movies. Although the director had announced the making of Rambo Hindi remake early this year, he still has not confirmed the star cast.
Tiger himself is a fan of Hrithik and the latter also praises the Baaghi actor for his action and dancing skills. Hrithik had featured in Sidharth's film Bang Bang that was also a Hindi remake of Hollywood film Knight and Day.
After the debacle of Mohenjo Daro, Hrithik is now gearing up for the release of Sanjay Gupta directorial Kaabil. The actor plays a blind man in the revenge drama that features Yami Gautam as well. Kaabil will have a box office clash with Shah Rukh Khan starrer-Raees as both the films are slated to be released on January 26.
