Prabhas-starrer Bahubali 2 (Baahubali: The Conclusion) is in news for the excellent response that its advance ticket booking has been garnering across the nation. While almost all the online tickets in various parts of Southern India have already been sold out, Mumbai and Delhi are witnessing some record breaking prices of the tickets.

The tickets of SS Rajamouli directorial movie Bahubali 2 are being sold at unbelievable prices that apparently are the highest for any Indian movie till date. Believe it or not, the advance booking tickets of the movie are being sold on BookMyShow at prices up to Rs 1,500 and even Rs 2,400 in two major cities.
The highest price of opening day ticket for Hindi version of Bahubali 2 in Mumbai is Rs 1,500 in certain theatres. And Delhi has gone a notch higher in terms of Bahubali 2 ticket rates, as some theatres are selling those at maximum price of Rs 2,400.
Other slots among the high priced tickets are of Rs 900 to Rs 1,200 in Mumbai, and in Delhi, there are other tickets that are being sold at Rs 1,800 to Rs 2,000.
Surprisingly, these extremely high-priced Bahubali 2 tickets are being bought by people as well, as only limited number of seats are available in those theatres, according to BookMyShow. On an average, theatres are charging around Rs 300 to Rs 500 for the film.
The magnum opus is undoubtedly one of the most awaited flicks of this year, and theatre owners are cashing on in the film's popularity to the fullest.
Although Bahubali is a Tamil and Telugu franchise, the Hindi version of the movie has no less craze among people. The success of the first instalment and the curiosity surrounding the big question "Why Kattappa killed Bahubali?', has led to huge craze around Bahubali 2.
