"Thor 3" is one of the most anticipated films of 2017. Over the past few months, a lot of hints regarding the film's plot has surfaced. Though the makers of the film are yet to give a concrete decision regarding the plot, much is being speculated about how things will shape up in Asgard.
The recent buzz has it that Thanos (Josh Brolin) will come to Asgard to steal the gems, which are currently in the possession of Loki. Thanos, who is an out-and-out negative character, made his first appearance in "The Guardians of Galaxy." His first comic book appearance was in "Iron Man #55."
Thanos is the child of Eternals Mentor and Sui-San and was born on the Jupiter's moon, Titan. Since his birth, he is fascinated by death and is in love with mistress of death. He tries to have a normal family life by getting married, but later comes under the spell of Death Mistress and kills his family. Thanos possess genes of Deviants, the super humans.
Brolin has said in his interview to Nuke The Fridge that he may reprise the role of Thanos in the Marvel films scheduled to release in 2016 and 2017.
"The fact that it's so, it's like, Yeah in 2016 and '17, what am I going to be doing? Oh, I'm going to be doing that, I'm very lucky in that way, man. I just get presented these things and I go wow, really? Why now and why this? The possibilities for Thanos are unlimited," he said.
The films, which have been scheduled for 2017 release are "Thor 3," "Black Panther" and "Gaurdians of Galaxy 2." So Thanos can be seen in all three films and his possibility of appearing in "Thor" sequel are quite strong as currently Asgard is in danger. The vulnerable situation can be used by Thanos to steal the infinity gauntlet, according to Enstraz report.
Meanwhile, giving a hint that "Thor 3" teaser can be attached to "Avengers: Age of Ultron," Idris Alba has said in one of his previous interviews that he and Tom Hiddleston have played a scene in the film, as reported by Eonline.
Alba plays Thor's ally Heimdall, while Hiddleston plays Loki in "Thor" films.
