Even though Vishal Pandya does not believe in casting same actor twice in his movies, the director retained Sharman Joshi in Wajah Tum Ho after he had featured in Hate Story 3. The reason is Sharma happens to be Vishal's favourite actor.
Both Hate Story 3 and Wajah Tum Ho are erotic thrillers. After Sharman had done some steamy scenes in the previous film, the director has put him in the shoes of a police officer.
The director did not want Sharman to have a similar role in the movie Wajah Tum Ho like he had in Hate Story 3 but at the same time he wanted to make his character strong and impactful.
"To avoid giving a similar role like he had in Hate Story 3, Vishal gave Sharman the role of a cop. When Sharman asked him if there are any songs for him in the film as his last film had hit songs, Vishal promised him that though you don't have songs, your dialogues will be even better than the songs. Surely Sharman knows it was a good bargain," a source close to the unit said.
Apart from Sharman, Wajah Tum Ho features Sana Khan, Gurmeet Choudhary and Rajniesh Duggall in lead roles. Produced by T-Series, the film has received much attention for the steamy scenes in the trailer and the songs. It is slated to be released on December 2.
