Nargis Fakhri and Uday Chopra's breakup reportedly happened with just a text message on WhatsApp. It has been reported that Uday abruptly sent a message to the actress' WhatsApp number and the reason behind it may be Nargis' apparent lack of certainty about the relationship.
"No one knows his reasons for doing so, but Uday ended their love story rather abruptly by sending her a text over Whatsapp. It could have been Nargis' blow hot blow cold attitude towards him that finally drove them apart," DNA quoted a source as saying.
The report also suggested that Uday has moved on with ease and has become more active on the messaging app. "Uday was using two phones. One was just for the actress. But since their split, that number is now inactive. And Uday's other private number, formerly not visible on WhatsApp, can now be seen publicly. Also, since his breakup, the actor has reportedly become quite active on the messaging app, as if to say: I am far from heartbroken and am in the mood to mingle," the source told the daily.
After rumours of Uday and Nargis' split were rife, there were reports that the actress had suffered a nervous breakdown and thus had left for New York, leaving behind all her work commitments. However, her spokesperson soon denied the buzz saying that Nargis had temporarily moved to the U.S. over health issues and will soon be back.
"Nargis has been extremely overworked working on three films simultaneously over the past year. For someone, who is used to doing one film at a time, this was quite a bit for Nargis. In addition, she has been unwell right through the 'Azhar' promotions with multiple injuries- torn hamstring, anterior knee ligament thinning and mild socket dislocation along with burning of the stomach lining due to lead and arsenic poisoning," the actress' spokesperson told Indo-Asian News Service.
"She has no plans to leave B-Town and will be back to sets to complete the pending patchwork for her film 'Banjo' in the second week of June. In addition, she has already agreed to two projects for 2017 before she left and will complete the paperwork when she's back. That coupled with her brand commitments that extend over multiple years, is testament of her being here to stay for good," he had added. However, like their reported affair, there is no confirmation on Nargis and her rumoured boyfriend's reported breakup.
