Nargis Fakhri will be seen kissing Emraan Hashmi multiple times in the upcoming movie "Azhar," but the actress was not comfortable with the lip-lock scenes; the reason is Emraan's moustache in the film.
The poster and trailer of "Azhar" showed that Emraan sports an artificial moustache in the movie. Nargis felt kissing Emraan "gross" as the moustache was "annoying" for her. "He's done that a lot. For me, it was pretty gross. You see that moustache (points at the film's poster)? How do I know that's not made from public hair? I had to kiss that. Not once, several times. The moustache was annoying as hell [laughs]," Nargis told the Huffingtonpost.
Nargis will be seen playing the character of former cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin's second wife, Sangeeta Bijlani. The report said that Kareena Kapoor Khan was first offered the role but she refused it and Nargis was eventually roped in for the movie. However, the "Rockstar" actress said that she had no idea of the character that she was supposed to play.
"I really didn't know what was happening, had no clue about the subject as you know I am not from here. I didn't know who Azhar was, what he had done. I agreed because I felt I could portray the character well. I have done the best I can with the source I had- Bijlani's previous films," Nargis said.
Earlier too, Nargis had said that she was uncomfortable with the multiple kissing scenes in one of the song sequences. "I probably didn't enjoy the song as much as he did. Lots of kissing happened. In fact, there was so much of it that at one point I wasn't sure if they were retakes, a part of the song, or someone playing a prank on me," the actress had told Mumbai Mirror.
