Almost all of Akshay Kumar's films perform decently at the box office, but one of his upcoming projects was running the risk of a major clash that could affect it in a big way. However, the clash has been averted as "Jagga Jasoos" and "Raaz Reboot" have moved their release dates.
The filmmakers have picked up cues from the devastation clash between "Dilwale" and "Bajirao Mastani" and they do not want to make similar mistakes, which was why the release dates were rescheduled, reports The Asian Age.
Directed by Sajid-Farhad, the third instalment of "Housefull" will see the "Airlift" actor apparently play a character suffering from Multiple Personality Disorder. Scheduled for a June 3 release, the comedy also features Abhishek Bachchan and Riteish Deshmukh in key roles. Lisa Haydon, Jacqueline Fernandez and Nargis Fakhri make up the rest of the cast.
In other news, Anurag Basu's "Jagga Jasoos" has been delayed because there are still 60-70 days of shooting left. "Dada has discussed many things on the set, but right now, the focus is only on this one. And that I can say this on behalf of all of us. So, if it eventually becomes a series, we will see. I would love to be a part of it, too," Katrina Kaif told DNA. Ranbir Kapoor has already shot a few portions sans his leading lady in the film.
As for "Raaz Reboot", the film stars Emraan Hashmi and Suzanna Mukherjee and is being directed by Vikram Bhatt. The team began with their Romania schedule last month and were braving sub-zero temperatures there.
