Salman Khan and Kabir Khan together have delivered blockbusters — "Ek Tha Tiger" and "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" — and there could another one in the making. Trade analyst Girish Johar tweeted that the actor-director duo has blocked Eid 2017 for the release of their film.
Meanwhile, Kabir told IANS that he will definitely make a third film with the superstar but he couldn't be sure if that would be his next.
"I share a comfortable working relationship with Salman. Moreover, after two major hits, I am definitely going to make another movie with him," he told the news agency and added that he was in talks with Hrithik Roshan for a project as well.
"We are discussing with Hrithik for another project. As soon I will be finishing my script, we will be working on that," he further added. Earlier this month, there were reports that Kabir was in Austria penning the script of the Salman-starrer, the pre-production of which will roll once he has returned to India.
While Kabir is working on his scripts, Salman and Hrithik are set to have a busy year ahead. The 50-year-old superstar is busy with Ali Abbas Zafar's "Sultan," which stars Anushka Sharma as his love interest. The team is looking at wrapping up the action-drama by May. Scheduled for an Eid release, the film may clash with Shah Rukh Khan's "Raees."
"Two songs have already been shot and 70 per cent of the film is complete but a major match sequence is yet to be shot. Now we have a 30-day schedule and will wrap by May," a source told Box Office India.
Meanwhile, Hrithik has portions of "Mohenjo Daro" to finish. Set in stone-age, the Ashutosh Gowariker directorial is a romantic-drama and boasts of high-voltage action sequences, in which Hrithik will be seen fighting wild animals with bare hands. The film also features debutant Pooja Hegde.
