Post the "Phata Poster Nikhla Hero" debacle, director Rajkumar Santoshi wants to play his cards right this time. After roping in Salman Khan for his next, word has it Katrina Kaif has been pulled on board for the project.
But what happens to be the most interesting update is its release date, which is Christmas 2017, Catch News reported. "I heard the script of a film a few days back, and it is clearly a Christmas film. Now, we will see what to do," Hindustan Times quoted the superstar as saying.
This news comes a few days after rumours surfaced suggesting that Abhishek Bachchan had replaced Salman in the film. Apparently, the slightly senior star has too much on his plate, which is why he failed to accommodate Rajkumar's film in his datebook.
Salman has an interesting line-up of films with directors he has worked with before. Kabir Khan's "Tubelight" rolls in July. The team will begin the shoot in Ladakh and is hoping to sign up a Chinese actress opposite the 50-year-old actor.
There's also an Anees Bazmee script that he has liked and asked the filmmaker to work on it. "Salman and Anees keep meeting and have worked together on Ready (2011). Anees has narrated a couple of scripts to him out of which he has liked one and asked the filmmaker to work on it. The film is going to be a rom-com and will be produced under Bhai's banner," a source told Mid-Day. The film in question is not "No Entry Mein Entry," but a fresh script.
