The news of Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli's relationship charting troubled waters surfaced when they un-followed each other on Instagram a few days ago. According to SpotboyE, the latest update says the "Sultan" actress has turned down her beau's marriage proposal.
"Anushka wants to focus on work in 2016, both as an actress and a producer. She would like to wait till 2017 at least. This led to a fight between Virat and her, and they're not on great terms now," an insider informed.
While the going-down-on-one-knee story is tough to verify, the fact that she has a lot on her plate can be vouched for. A Bollywood Hungama report stated that the leading lady in question will be producing three films. Navdeep Singh, Anshai Lal and Akshat Verma are directors she's looking at working with.
Interestingly, last year the news of the couple getting hitched in 2016 got everyone excited when her spokesperson released an official statement rubbishing the rumours. It said she was busy with her work commitments and official announcements would happen as and when her relationship progressed.
In other news, broken marriages and fractured relationships are grabbing more headlines than the movies which have released so far. Ranbir Kapoor-Katrina Kaif, Farhan Akhtar-Adhuna Bhabani, and the recent Arbaaz Khan-Malaika Arora mess are some of the major ongoing rifts.
Sharma is currently busy with "Sultan" and will soon shoot a romantic song with the superstar. Slated for an Eid release, the film is being helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Also, she has portions of Karan Johar's "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" to finish, which has Ranbir Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead.
