Of late, rumours have been doing the rounds that Aly Goni aka Romi of "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" fame is dating his co-star Krishna Mukherjee, who essays the role of Aliya on the show. The alleged couple apparently spends a lot of time together on the sets when they are not shooting. In fact, rumours also have it that Krishna is often found in Aly's make-up room. They also wait for each other to pack up and leave together.
Although Krishna had refuted the rumours then, Aly has opened up on the reports in an interview with the Times of India. The actor is miffed with the rumours and said that he and Krishna are just good friends. "I have always been open about my relationship. I would have admitted to it if I were in a relationship. We are just good friends and have gone out a couple of times. That's enough for people to spread such rumours," Aly said.
Talking about whether there is any possibly of taking the friendship to a new level, Aly said that he was scared of falling in love again since his last relationship didn't work out. Aly was earlier in a relationship with Natasa Stankovic of "Bigg Boss 8" fame. Although the couple had parted ways in 2015 after dating for over a year, Aly and Natasa continued to be friends until recently.
"After breaking up the first time, we decided to give our relationship another chance. We tried to work on it, but problems persisted and we decided to end it for good rather than dragging it on. There is no communication between us now. Initially, I thought it was different cultures and mindsets that drew the wedge between us, but the reality is that we are not compatible," he said.
Besides Aly and Krishna, "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" actress Aditi Bhatia and Abhishek Verma, who entered the daily soap after the storyline took a leap, are also said to be dating. According to reports, Aditi and Abhishek, who play on-screen siblings Ruhi and Aditya respectively, have turned inseparable on the sets. However, both the actors have denied the rumour, claiming that they are just good friends.
