Shah Rukh Khan's next with Imtiaz Ali has been a talking point for quite some time now. All this while, there were reports that claimed he would be seen as a turbaned tourist in the film, but now sources say otherwise.
"Shah Rukh plays a tourist guide. Like Devsaab in Vijay Anand's film, there are many twists and turns in the Shah Rukh's character graph. He has a moral epiphany that changes his life and that of others he encounters," an insider informed DNA.
However, SRK said a few days ago that the makers are now assembling the technical team and there's still time for an official announcement. "I have been hearing a lot of things like I am playing a Sikh, a guide... But in another two months we will announce the whole film. We are just waiting for the technical team to get together," the Press Trust of India quoted the actor as saying.
Meanwhile, there's been a strong buzz that Shah Rukh and Anushka Sharma will jet off to Budapest for one of the first schedules. The film will be shot across at least five countries. A Deccan Chronicle source added that formalities regarding shooting permissions and the likes are being worked out.
In another news, Shah Rukh also has Aanand L Rai's film, in which he essays the role of a little person, lined up. He plans to take that up late this year. Anushka is shooting for the last leg of "Sultan" in Budapest with Salman Khan.
