That Ranbir Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut are bonding has been in the news for a while. Sources say the actors caught up on food and cinema at a party hosted by Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan.
Although many may assume that the actress is bonding with the Kapoor scion for their film together, Sanjay Dutt biopic, an insider has denied the story. "It's true that she has signed a film with Raju Hirani, but it's not the Dutt biopic where Ranbir plays the lead role," the source told the Asian Age.
The actress confirmed the news to the Press Trust of India. "Sanjay Dutt's biopic hasn't been offered to me but I am in talks with Raju sir for another project where I play a comedian," she said.
Meanwhile, Kangana and Ranbir have apparently been friends for long but tight schedules kept them from hanging out together. "Kangana and Ranbir have been friends for a long time now, but their busy schedules don't allow them to hang out much except at occasional industry events. They had a particularly long chat at Kareena's recent party where they spoke about various things," an on-looker added.
On the personal front, both of their love lives are in shambles, at least that's what the gossip columns are saying. While Ranbir has broken up with Katrina Kaif, with whom he had moved in last year, Kangana is fighting a legal battle of sorts with Hrithik Roshan, who had reportedly proposed to her and later bowed out for reasons best known to him.
Work-wise, Ranbir is prepping for the biopic (mentioned above), after which he has Ayan Mukerji's film with Alia Bhatt. Kangana is busy filming Vishal Bhardwaj's "Rangoon" alongside Shahid Kapoor and Saif.
