John Abraham's upcoming movie "Rocky Handsome" is going to have a box office clash with much awaited Hollywood movie "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" as both the films will release March 25. However, the actor is confident that the Hollywood flick will not have much impact on the box office collection of "Rocky Handsome."
John said that as long as a film is good, people will watch it and he believes that "Rocky Handsome" will enjoy good word of mouth. "We totally respect the fact that we have another film releasing alongside us, but will that affect our collections? I don't think so. I am of the opinion that our collections will not be up to the mark only if our film is not good," Catch News quoted John as saying.
"Yes, I can make thousands of excuses regarding the clash and all those stuff, but if my film is not good, I won't have collections. If my film is good, what might be affected is my opening day collection, but on basis of word of mouth, we will make up for that. I am sure there will be an audience who would want to see a real hero and not a super hero," John added.
The actor also expressed hope that the positive response, received by the trailer of "Rocky Handsome," will help the film get a good opening day box office collection. Directed by Nishikant Kamat, "Rocky Handsome" is an action movie, inspired by Korean film "The Man from Nowhere." On the other hand, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is a fictional superhero movie and has been directed by Zack Snyder.
