Shah Rukh Khan hosted an after-party for Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, who was in India last weekend to perform at the Global Citizen India. Attending the bash were some of Bollywood's best — starting from actors to producers and directors.
The party went on till the wee hours of Sunday (November 20) and even though the guests stationed themselves at cozy corners of Mannat, two stars tried as best as they could to avoid each other. Salman Khan and Vivek Oberoi do not share the best of rapports and were seen avoiding each other, SpotboyE reported.
"Salman, Shah Rukh, Deepika, Chris Martin, Katrina Kaif, Hrithik Roshan had formed a group of their own. Ditto for many other guests. But it was only Vivek who was lurking in corners to avoid a face-off with Salman. Of course, Salman must have seen Vivek. Vivek didn't have any place to hide. But it was too funny the way he was going all out to avoid Salman," the web portal quoted an insider as saying.
For the uninitiated, both Oberoi and Khan once dated Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The friction between the two was started by press conference held by Oberoi over ten years ago. He had told the media how he had received threat calls from Khan for seeing Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Although the move was very brazen, it did no good to him or his relationship with the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil actress. She bailed on him and completely denied having anything to do with the situation.
Since then, Oberoi has apparently put in efforts to iron out his differences with Khan, but nothing has materialised so far. "Unfortunately, some people are stuck in a time warp about an incident that happened 13 years ago," Vivek had told the media sometime ago.
