Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan set the internet into a frenzy when a picture of the two cycling together on the streets of Mumbai went viral on social media. Aamir Khan was asked to comment on the two stars' friendship and the "Dangal" actor said that he is very happy to see their bonding.
Aamir was addressing the media at the "Dangal" poster launch event, where one of the reporters asked him as to why was he not a part of the "Sultan" actor's cycle ride but Shah Rukh was. Mr Perfectionist replied to the question in a funny manner saying that it is not like if one becomes friends with someone, he cannot remain friends with others.
"What do you think? Once I become friends with someone, I can't have friendship with anyone else? Don't betray me by becoming friends with someone else! It doesn't happen like that. I am very happy to know that Salman and Shah Rukh are spending time together, they went out cycling, they have been chilling together. That's wonderful, it's really wonderful," Aamir said.
At the same event, Aamir had responded to Salman's controversial comment in which he had compared his physical pain during "Sultan" shooting with that of a "raped" woman. He said that Salman's remark was "unfortunate" and "insensitive." "I was not there but going by the media reports, what he has said is rather unfortunate or rather insensitive," Aamir had said.
However, Aamir too apparently had made a similar blunder at the event when he compared himself inappropriately with a waiter. "Salman is a huge superstar. When he enters it looks like the star has entered and when I enter, I look like a waiter," the actor had said. Although he had immediately retracted his waiter remark, Aamir was much criticised on social media and was called a "hypocrite" too.
