Aamir Khan will be seen playing the role of a real-life wrestler in his upcoming movie "Dangal" and the actor's wife in the film has also been finalised.
After much hunt, popular TV actress Sakshi Tanwar has been roped in to play the role of Aamir's wife in the film, according to NDTV. A number of actresses were reportedly auditioned for the role of Aamir's wife, and Sakshi Tanwar was the last one to be auditioned.
Although Sakshi will also be seen in Sunny Deol starrer "Mohalla Assi", "Dangal" is for sure her biggest project so far. Best known for her role of a 'bahu' in Ekta Kapoor's TV serial "Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki", Sakshi happens to be the highest paid TV actress.
Aamir will be seen playing the role of wrestler Mahavir Phogat in "Dangal" and the actor has gained a lot of weight for the film. The actor will appear as a father of two daughters, to be played by Fatima Shaikh and Zaira Wasim, representing real-life daughters of Mahavir Phogat, Geeta and Babita respectively.
Mahavir Phogat's daughters are also wrestlers in real life and thus, the two new actresses playing the role of Geeta and Babita have also been training hard to fit into the role.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, "Dangal" also features Vikram Singh and Rajkummar Rao and the film is expected to hit screens at the end of next year.
