After Shah Rukh Khan's "Fan", "Sultan" is Yash Raj Films' most-awaited and much-talked-about project. And so, its makers aren't leaving any stones unturned to make it a success.
After releasing a poster which has Salman Khan sporting a handlebar moustache, director Ali Abbas Zafar tweeted a photo highlighting a part of the superstar's face. Looking mean and fierce, the sneak-peek into the actor's look from the film is already setting the bar pretty high.
"Working out Sunday with Sultan @SultanTheMovie . Let's build some muscle (sic)," posted the filmmaker.
However, the drool-worthy physique didn't come easy to the actor. He has had to undergo intense training and take lessons from professionals on mixed martial arts and wrestling. Talking to DNA about his sessions last year, he had said he was on his way to learning floor work and other techniques which are part of the combat sport.
"I am learning how to grapple, the floor work (important for fighters), how to kick and how to get kicked! It's not that we cannot do what they (fighters) do, but they have been doing it for so many years, they do it with ease. I need to get that ease, the flexibility, power and quickness in me. I do about three-four kicks every day, but have to increase it to 150-200 kicks," he had said.
Meanwhile, fans can finally heave a sigh of relief as the team has found a leading lady for the film: Anushka Sharma. Thrilled to have joined forces with this Khan, the actress said she would always remember these experiences fondly, adding she was proud of have gotten the opportunity to work with the reigning Khans of the industry.
