After Rajadhi Raja, actor Mammootty has joined hands with director Ajai Vasudev for the second time. The versatile actor plays a college professor in the movie, which is rumoured to be titled Eddy, the name of the character played by the megastar in it.
The filming of Mammukka's part started at Fatima College in Kollam on Wednesday, May 10. A few photos of the stylish actor have already surfaced online, raising the expectation levels of the audience. The previous movie in which the megastar appeared in the role of a professor was Mazhayethum Munpe that was released 22 years ago.

The shooting of the as-yet untitled movie commenced a few days ago, and the photos and videos of Santhosh Pandit from the sets had then gone viral on social media. The self-declared superstar had also announced his association with Mammootty in the film, and even requested the support of his fans. Following the announcement, netizens have been praising the versatile actor for allowing Santhosh to be a part of the project, despite the negative popularity he has among the audience.
The Ajai-directed film, set in the backdrop of college campus, also stars actor Suresh Gopi's son Gokul Suresh in a significant role. Uday Krishna, who has penned the blockbuster Mohanlal-starrer Pulimurugan, has also written the script for this movie, which is the production venture of the Dubai-based Royal Cinemas. The upcoming movie is expected to hit the screens as an Onam release this year.
