Sidharth Malhotra, who will be seen playing a sportsperson in his upcoming film "Brothers", had specially trained himself to get into the skin of the character.
Although, the actor has been a fitness freak since his modelling days, getting the desired rough and tough look for the film, didn't come easy.
Despite being a diehard non-vegetarian, Sidharth manages to keep himself fit with the help of his personal trainer, Satish Narkar. He reportedly changes his workout schedule every four weeks.
Interestingly, Sidharth's good looks and muscular body made him feature on the cover of Men's health magazine in 2007.
"Brothers", directed by Karan Malhotra, is the official remake of 2011 release Hollywood film "Warrior", which had Tom Hardy and Joel Edgerton in the main roles.
The film will revolve around two estranged brothers (played by Akshay Kumar and Sidharth), who come across with each other in a martial arts tournament. This is the first time that fitness enthusiasts Akshay and Sidharth will share the screen space.
While, "Brothers" trailer will release on 10 June, the film, also featuring Jacqueline Fernandez in lead role, will hit the screens on 14 August.
Meanwhile, the "Student of the Year" actor is busy shooting for Karan Johar's much-anticipated film "Kapoor and Sons" that also stars his alleged girlfriend Alia Bhatt and Fawad Khan.
