Rumour has it that Salman Khan has been hoping to rope in Kriti Sanon for "Bodyguard 2," but there's another movie he wishes her to be a part of. The Hindi remake of Punjabi blockbuster "Jatt and Juliet" has the superstar's attention.
"Salman heard the script and was sure that he wanted to make the film. And he is considering Kriti but nothing has been finalised till now," a source told the Asian Age. Also, Salman is looking at launching a friend's son, Zaheer, in the flick.
The Punjabi rom-com stars Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa.
The casting speculation may be on, but it appears the music department has been sorted out. "Salman has been closely associated with the Hindi version, in particular the music score. He has already approved five-six songs," an insider told Mumbai Mirror a few days ago.
Produced by Ashwin Varde and Murad Khetani, the project will be helmed by choreographer-filmmaker Ahmed Khan and will go on floors few months from now.
Kriti has enough dates as the only film she's prepping for right now is Dinesh Vijan's "Raabta," which also stars Sushant Singh Rajput. The actress has been taking horse-riding lessons to master the performance sport.
"It initially took me a little time to get a hang of the horse's rhythm and to learn how to control the horse, but once I started getting that, horse riding became a lot of fun," she told IANS.
Meanwhile, Kriti could also be part of "Kick 2." She is one of the frontrunners for the role, SpotboyE reported last month. Salman, who has a double role in the film, has been closely working with scriptwriters and has apparently asked them to tone down the action quotient in the film.
