Humor has no gender- Mollywood Times
Thilothamaa is a laugh riot featuring Rachana Narayanankutty in the lead. The fun-filled movie is woman-centric and makes a statement on our female protagonists in mainstream Malayalam cinema. But what makes Thilothama different is the out-and-out comic treatment adopted by the debutant director. The movie keeps almost all different types of viewers engaged throughout the running time.
Thilothamaa maintains a feeling of feminine energy in all the departments, and will work with those who enjoy light-hearted comedies that can carry a bit of laughter back home.
Rachana has acted very well in the film. Siddique was good in his negative role. Manoj K Jayan has also done very well. All others cast in the film has done their part in the movie.
The narration was good as was music composed by Deepak Dev. The item song "Pavada Pennane" is already a hit and is the higlight song of the movie. Its comic treatment is one of the main sources of entertainment, and works throughtout the movie.
Overall the film is watchable and one of the best woman-centric movies in Malayalam. Catch the film in theatres.
