Salman Khan's glorious run at the box office can be stunted by just one bad decision, which is why the superstar has been careful about choosing his upcoming projects.
There are three films lined-up — "Tiger Zinda Hai," "Race 3" and "Dabangg 3" — for Salman's approval, but he's thinking things through.
According to a BollywoodLife report, those close to the actor want him to take up Ali Abbas Zafar's "Tiger Zinda Hai" after he wraps up Kabir Khan's "Tubelight." But the star wants the filmmaker to hand-in a bound script, after which he will take a call.
Salman and Ali have together delivered one of the biggest blockbusters of recent times. "Sultan" has broken pre-existing records and created new ones. So when they come back with a film, it has to be better than the last one, which is why the actor isn't keen on taking unnecessary risks.
Meanwhile, the makers of "Race 3" are done with the script and awaiting Salman's approval of it. "Race 3" will portray the star in a different light. The team is apparently trying their best to make his character as strong and powerful as possible.
However, producer Ramesh Taurani dismissed the reports of Salman replacing Saif Ali Khan in the third instalment and said they were baseless.
"Dabangg 3" is another project Salman has to decide upon. Director-producer Arbaaz Khan has been waiting for this film to take-off for quite a few years now. Earlier this year, Arbaaz had confirmed that the "Sultan" actor will kick-start the schedule 2017.
The third part is a prequel and will focus on Chulbul Pandey's younger days. It may star "Freaky Ali" star Amy Jackson and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead.
As of now, Salman is in Manali shooting for Kabir's "Tubelight" with Chinese star Zhu Zhu.
