"Theri" has a good opening and the movie managed superb collection at the overseas box office collection in two days. The Vijay and Samantha-starrer has surpassed the $1-million collection mark on Saturday.
"Theri" was released in large number of screens in the US, UK, Canada, Australia and other international markets. The movie received a flying start in most of these regions and has shown decent growth on the following days. The Atlee Kumar-directed action movie was released in over 20 cinema halls and got good opening. It has collected A$256,938 at the Australia box office in three days and its per-screen average stands at A$12,846. The movie has collected approximately $811,143 at the U.S box office in three days. It has turned out to be blockbuster for Vijay in North America, beating the records of all his previous films.
The day-wise break of the collection of "Theri" is $251,123 from premiere shows on Wednesday night, $136,942 on Thursday, $191,701 on Friday and $231,377 on Saturday.
