The audio of Ilayathalapathy Vijay-starrer "Theri" will be out March 20 and the music of the forthcoming Tamil movie will be released by a new label.
Sreedhar Pillai confirmed the news by tweeting, "#Theri update - Producer #KalaipuliThanu has confirmed audio launch March 20. It will be a new audio label to Tamil music. Release April 14." The makers of "Theri" are also expected to announce the news through newspaper ads.
The buzz says that Kalaipuli S Dhanu is planning a grand event for the music launch function of "Theri" in Chennai. More details about the audio release event will be revealed soon.
Prior to the music launch, a song teaser is expected to be released. "Thinking over a single soon #jithujilladi #GV50 #theri." Music director GV Prakash Kumar had hinted at it on Twitter recently.
Meanwhile, GV Prakash Kumar has roped in T Rajendar and Sonu Kakkar to croon a special song. It has come out well and the music director has claimed that the track will be a treat for the audience, who watch the film in theatres. In addition to it, there will be a rap track, which the fans had got a glimpse of in the movie's teaser.
The buzz is that the album, which marks the 50th movie of the music director, consists of seven tracks, but there is not any official confirmation on it. The track list of the Tamil movie will be out soon.
Atlee Kumar's "Theri" is an action-entertainer in which Vijay has played the role of a cop. Samantha and Amy Jackson have paired up with him in the forthcoming flick.
