Theresa May: All countries have the right to control their borders
UK Prime Minister Theresa May told the United Nations on 19 September that refugees should claim asylum in the first safe country they reach and that countries have a right to control their borders. She was speaking at a sideline event of the 71st session of the UN General Assembly on the global refugee and migrant crisis.
