Mallika Sherawat's reality show "The Bachelorette India" has finally concluded, with the actress picking Vijay Singh as her soulmate.
On Friday's episode, the actress decided her perfect suitor was the desi lad Vijay. She chose him over fellow contestant Karan Sagoo.
Vijay, a native of Dharmsala in Himachal Pradesh, was elated after being chosen by Mallika and was seen pledging to the actress that he would be the perfect partner and would keep her happy.
For the finale, Mallika was dressed in an olive green lehenga and danced with both Vijay and Karan to romantic tracks.
The 'Murder' actress was rumoured to have shared an affinity with Vijay since the show's initiation. Recently, the actress kissed Vijay during one of the secret romantic dates, which was aired on television.
Vijay also had the edge, when in a previous episode he exclaimed his love for Malliak by getting on his knees in front of the Taj Mahal, the eternal symbol of love.
The actress, while choosing Vijay over Karan cited that she found the passion missing from Karan's part towards her. However, Mallika went on to choose Vijay and the model picked her up in his arms and was seen ecstatic.
When asked Mallika about her future plans with Vijay, the actress revealed, "Till now, I have known Vijay only in front of the cameras but I want to know him without the cameras now."
The episode was also attended by several television celebrities, such as Pooja Gor, Aman Verma, Hiten Tejwani, Vishwajeet Pradhan, Viraf Patel.
As the reality show wrapped up, with Mallika finding a suitable partner speculation is already on up about the next season. And if rumours are to be believed producer Ekta Kapoor could star in the show next season, looking for a perfect match.
