Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's much-awaited comeback film post her pregnancy has become a mystery with conflicting reports from film producers, directors and her husband Abhishek Bachchan.
Recent reports suggested that the 39-year-old actress would make her comeback with her husband in Prahlad Kakkar's directorial "Happy Anniversary". But Abhishek denied the reports saying nothing has been confirmed yet.
Although, Aishwarya is receiving several film offers from top producers and directors, it is unlikely to see her signing a film opposite her husband, the reason being her daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan.
Aishwarya's top priority has always been her 15-month-old toddler and the actress wants to be around her as much as possible.
"Aishwarya is a fully hands-on mother. She doesn't let anyone take care of Aaradhya as long as she is around. And if Aishwarya has a commitment to attend to, Abhishek looks after the baby. Aaradhya too depends entirely on her mother. And if there's anyone the little girl depends on after her mother, it is her father. It would therefore be foolhardy for both Aishwarya and Abhishek to be shooting for the same film," film critic Subhash k Jha quoted a source as saying.
"Aishwarya would like to do a film where her schedules don't match with Abhishek's so that one parent can be with Aaradhya when she is shooting."
Several reports also suggest that the star couple might feature in the remake of Shekar Kapur's 1983 film "Masoom". But seeing Aishwary's stance on being cast opposite her hubby might dampen the prospects of seeing them togther on the silverscreen.
