Television actress Jigyasa Singh, who plays the lead role of Thapki in "Thapki Pyar Ki," has not been keeping well for some time. Jigyasa is suffering from jaundice and despite being sick, the actress arrives on the sets daily with enthusiasm and never fails to lose her charm.
"Jigyasa is very dedicated to her character. In spite of suffering from Jaundice, she did not give up. She makes sure she is present on the set every day and gives the best shot," a source told Daily Bhaskar.
"Being an actor, we have to work whether we are keeping well or not. And for me, work is worship. In fact, I feel relaxed when I am on the set and it is also helping me in coping up with Jaundice. I am on medication and hoping to get recover soon," Jigyasa told the daily.
With such professionalism and hard work, no wonder Jigyasa has turned out to be one of the most favourite TV actresses.
In other news, recent reports suggested that Jigyasa's rumoured boyfriend and co-actor Ankit Bathla, who plays the role of Dhruv on the show, was apparently unhappy with the changes in his track on the show. Even as Ankit was introduced as the lead character of the show, the ongoing love story between Thapki and Bihaan, has resulted in Ankit's character being sidelined. However, Ankit denied being disappointed and claimed that he was aware of the changes in the track.
Meanwhile, in the recent episodes of "Thapki Pyar Ki," Thapki was alone in the Pandey house, when she was shocked to see a gang of burglars stealing jewelleries from Vasundhara's room. Although a scared Thapki tried to flee the house, she decided to stop the burglars from robbing the family's belongings. Thapki, however, failed to go unnoticed and the criminals were seen trying to kill her.
It remains to be seen if Thapki succeeds in nabbing the burglars or Vasundhara and other family members accuse Thapki of stealing the lost jewellery.
